New German Publication Online!

As the company I work with uses Infor ERP LN, I am connected with the Infor ERP Usergroup e.V. This association does an excellent job in connecting Infor ERP LN Users and use this power to also influence Infor regarding future developments. Many new features, Infor hasn’t thought of, stem from this organizations activities, actually from the many companies organized here.

Since Digital Transformation and Digitalization (where’s the difference? See my blog post here) is effecting each and every business, Ms. Merlino, head of the office, asked me to write an editorial for the organization’s annual magazine “imFOKUS 2017“.

You find an excerpt of the magazine including my editorial here: Herausforderung Digitale Transformation (the article is in German language.)

In the article I cover primarily four aspects of Digital Transformation:

  • Digitalization or Digital Transformation? English speakers find a blog post here.
  • Understanding new technology to estimate the value for our businesses and our products and services. I prepared a series of videos where I covered this issue in English.
  • Understanding disruption to derive new business models. This video in English language covers that as well.
  • New Work. I cover why we need to look at our business culture, digital leadership, and why Millennials and Generation Z have different demands. How can we make sure to hire the best people? We have to be an attractive employer that provides meaning in work.

I feel honored that I was ask contribute this editorial.
